Certificates - Management Declaration
(Extract from N. Sguassero S.p.A. "QUALITY MANUAL")

N. Sguassero management establishes that the company complies with a quality system according to the regulations indicated by UNI EN ISO 9001 norm and that such a system is maintained and documented.

The system, intended to be applied to all products manufactured, has to realize the following objectives:

point out the company's skill to design, manufacture, install and provide assistance for its products, referring to the technical norms applicable, to the contractual requests and to the market demands;
guarantee and improve the quality of products and services, for an always greater customer satisfaction and to acquire new market share, operating on the internal organization efficiency, on the productive process control and on the quality control of the subcontractors;
increase the company's profitability, raise efficiency and improve co-ordination.

N. Sguassero management ensures that the subjects of the quality manual and of the pertinent procedures and instructions are notified and applied by all personnel within its control and places at its disposal all the necessary resources to support and fulfill this policy.

In order to put the quality system into effects, N. Sguassero management designates as "management representative" the quality assurance manager (RA).

He reports directly to the management about his activities and in particular about the realization of the system. He has full authority to accomplish the following functions:

make sure that the quality policy is understood and effected by all sectors of the company and that the quality system is applied and maintained actively throughout the whole organization;
identify the problems connected to the realization of the quality system and promote / verify the pertinent solutions;
report to the management all the elements useful to review the system and all the informative data on the pertinent tendencies, suggesting to the management all the aspects required to improve the system itself.

The management expects that all the employees give their maximum cooperation and participation: this is the only way to reach the proposed objects.

Quality Guarantee

The quality assurance carries out the following activities :

defines the procedures governing all company's activities;
programs and effect internal audits and supervises suppliers qualification;
promotes preventive / corrective actions in order to conform products quality and services to customers demands;
plans forming / training of personnel qualified for supervision, repair and installation activities;
manages the relationship with the classification societies for products certification and administers type approval certificates.

The quality control carries out the following activities :

supervises the acceptance inspections on supplies;
performs final controls and eventual tests on end products to verify the requested performances;
keeps product non-conformities and measuring gauges calibration under control.
